Pedro Bermúdez, pianist, arranger, producer, and composer, was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on August 9, 1976. At the age of 10 he began studying piano and Latin percussion. He began to play piano professionally at the age of 16 and was part of the best salsa orchestras in Puerto Rico and New York such as: Willie Rosario, Batacumbele, Roberto Roena and his Apollo Sound, Bobby Valentín, Orquesta Mulenze, Jimmy Bosch, Tony Vega, Tommy Olivencia, Don Peringnon y la Puertorriqueña, Tito Allen, Adalberto Santiago, Herman Olivera, Ismael Rivera Jr.

In the year 2000 he moved to New York City and in the mid of the decade he played with some of the best-known musicians of the Latin jazz genre and Brazilian jazz artists, such as: Andy González, Giovanni Hidalgo, John Benítez, Richie Flores, Dave Valentín, Santi Debriano, Claudio Roditi, Sergio Brandao, Wilson, Chembo Corniel, Joe Santiago, Ralph Irrizary, Jerry Gonzalez, Ruben Rodriguez, Oscar Stagnaro, Iván Renta, Pedro Martinez among others.

 In 2010 he released his first production “No Limits” as a main artist and composer with great jazz figures such as: The legendary bassist Eddie Gómez, brazilian drummer Duduka da Fonseca, as well as Iván Renta, Vince Cherico, Richie Flores, Oscar Stagnaro, Ruben Rodriguez, Piro Rodriguez and other great musicians.

In 2018 he released his salsa production "Arrasando" where he managed to gather more than 35 musicians from Puerto Rico and New York such as Jose Mangual Jr, Ralph Irizarry, Bobby Valentin, Eddie Montalvo, Reynaldo Jorge and others in a recording that earned the respect of the most critics of traditional salsa for maintaining the essence of the style of salsa music that was played in New York of the 70's era.

In 2023 he releases his 2nd production "La Revelación" where for the second time he makes a reunion with the best musicians in Puerto Rico where all the lyrical arrangements and production are by Pedro Bermúdez. Pedro Bermúdez is currently one of the most sought-after music producers and arranger in the genre of salsa music.
